MAKE A CHANGE... KILL YOURSELF LYRICS
❤️ Click here: Make a change kill yourself
I want to spill their blood. In a year where Death Metal has already spoiled us with a ton of modern classics that have restored my once-stagnant love of the genre significantly, this album bursts onto the scene, shatters my expectations even further and absolutely fucking solidifies that notion. Join me in this wicked state of suicide.
Short story, short, I decided to take a break from writing for the month of June to recharge my batteries. Join me brother of blood. This crappy human medicine wont cure me. Here, we have another reason why.
Make a Change… Kill Yourself - Death is what I hunger to experience.
Short story, short, I decided to take a break from writing for the month of June to recharge my batteries. I gave myself this much-needed break and it helped me build my passion for this blog and my writing back up exceptionally. The rest that I left off of this list you know what they are if you follow me on social mediawill be getting full reviews in the coming weeks. Oh yes, I have a lot lined up for the next couple months. What caused this album to get so lost in the shuffle is beyond me, because I do really like Funeral Winds. Boy oh fucking boy, have I dun goofed by missing this one. I now remember why I was a fan before. Of all the good Death Metal 2018 is bestowing upon us, this one may be the best one of the Blackened variety. This is very aggressive, filled with solid riffs, sounds like a cross between Watain and Bolt Thrower and is just an overall fun listen. What I got was a pretty decent outing of dreary but melodic Depressive Black Metal a la Lifelover, Psychonaut 4 and the likes. This is really good and served my thirst for Depressive Black Metal during my kick a few weeks back. Definitely for fans of Abyssic Hate, Nocturnal Depression, Ofdryykja, etc. Pure misery through and through. Nahtrunar: Mysterium Tremendum Next we go to Austria for some more straight up Black Metal. Nahtrunar is a mysterious anonymous entity that plays a pretty run of the mill but enjoyable style of Black Metal. Pretty standard stuff, but good for what it is. Overall, just a competent Black Metal record for any purist to enjoy. Ad Hominem: Napalm for All Next we go to the lovely land of Italy for some punishing French-born Black Metal of the more modern ilk. This is just loud, riffy Black Metal with heavy themes of war and genocide, with the aggression to back their lyrical content. Their last album, Antitheist was very enjoyable, but this album ups the aggression and sharpness of their tone a great deal. The vocals even remind me a bit of mid-era Darkthrone I know, I know, not all of you like that. Skinless have returned with an absolute fucking improvement from their last one. Just Old School-fuled Brutal Death Metal done right, the way only Skinless knows how. Featuring members of Benediction and Bolt Thrower, I knew this one was in good hands in terms of quality. This is raw, mid-paced, groovy Old School Death Metal that harkens way the fuck back to the sleazy, slimy days of old, with snarling, half-yelled vocals, muddy guitars churning out muddy riffs and paced, groovy drums. Very reminiscent of early Asphyx, Pestilence and Obituary, if you ask me. Typhonian: Beneath the Streams of Life Another debut from another young, promising act, this time from Germany. Typhonian bring another solid contribution to the Death Metal brigade of 2018 with Beneath the Streams of Life, which is another beastly offering of Old School Death Metal ruthlessness. This is absolutely crushing, production and music-wise, full of super thick guitars, pounding drums and throaty growls that would make Martin Van Drunen proud. Simple, sweet, to the point and only serves the purpose of making you deaf by 40. Great fucking stuff and I look forward to seeing what these guys come out with next and as they continue to develop. Ghastly: Death Velour Kinda weird but interesting Death Metal from Finland. Basically mid-paced, old school tinged Death Metal with a small hint of 90s style Black Metal very Immortal-esque. Super heavy and rich with riffs, vocals that rest somewhere between growls and raspy yells and pounding drums. Kind of a different take on Death Metal but still as old school as it gets. The Black Metal seasoning brings something interesting to the table as well. Maybe not for everyone, but still worth checking out. Assumption: Absconditus Another one from the Everlasting Spew roster. This time, some crushing Death Doom from Italy. Here, make a change kill yourself have another reason why. Just dirty, tremolo-filled old school style Black Metal with grimy shrieks, muddy make a change kill yourself, thick, crushing guitars and loud but muddy production to top it off. Autokrator: Hammer of the Heretics Now on to France for some fucking Death Metal insanity. This is fucking insanity of the most hellish and vile ilk in audio form. In a year where Death Metal has already spoiled us with a ton of modern classics that have restored my once-stagnant love of the genre significantly, this album bursts onto the scene, shatters my expectations even further and absolutely fucking solidifies that notion. It pulls no punches and bears no regard for your well-being throughout the entirety of the aural assault that this gives you from start to finish. A full review of this one may come in the near future. If you like your Blackened Death Metal classy, then look no further than this, as well as the rest of what this group of bands has to offer. Winterfylleth: The Hallowing of Heirdom Winterfylleth… goes Neofolk. Each track is very intricately structured and filled with enough emotion to keep you invested but enough calm to make is as easy a listen as possible. No Current 93 or Boyd Rice or anything like that, but still worth a listen. As we know, comeback albums can go either way; really good or really bad. This is very competent and very aggressive Black Metal with a specialty of make a change kill yourself tension and knowing when to unload the assault when the moment comes. There are a lot of explosive moments of blast-beat-riddled fury that follow brief moments of calm and ambience. All of these were pretty much pleasers for me and very much worthy of my words. Some of which you might even see on my big list in December. Again, you can expect full reviews on the rest of the albums I caught up on next week. Stay tuned and enjoy these gems for now!.
Make a Change... Kill Yourself - Once Awake (official)
This is very aggressive, filled with solid riffs, sounds like a cross between Watain and Bolt Thrower and is just an overall fun listen. Our veins we shall slit, Spilling our blood on the butchered bodies. Typhonian: Beneath the Streams of Life Another debut from another young, promising act, this time from Germany. Help me create a war. Above the corpses we shall stand proud, And laugh at their disgrace. This is very competent and very aggressive Black Metal with a specialty of controlling tension and knowing when to unload the assault when the moment comes. Caressed by this shitty life.
